Non-Directive Coaching can be a powerful way of helping people to improve their performance, however strong or weak their current record may be.

In the ‘Introduction to Non-Directive Coaching’ training session you will be helped to develop basic coaching skills – through a blend of theory and practice.

You will examine:

  • Coaching – what it is and what it is not.
  • The qualities and skills of a coach.
  • How to conduct a basic coaching conversation.
  • The range of coaching approaches.
  • Listening skills.
  • Questioning skills.
  • Coaching ground rules, permissions and boundaries.

You will have the opportunity to conduct real coaching sessions with one another, experiencing both being a coach and being coached.

The session will be:

Interactive and fully participative – with plenty of opportunity for practice and feedback.

Delivered by Anthony Brister CBE, who is an experienced, professional coach and Director of AB Coaching and Leadership Ltd.
